Reviewing procedure
By submitting their papers to Sprawozdania Archeologiczne, authors consent to the process of peer review. Each submitted manuscript is reviewed initially by the editorial team, then by an outside peer or, if needed, by two outside peers. The reviewers are not selected from among the author’s colleagues or from among any persons with whom a conflict of interests may arise. The review is anonymous and confidential. The peers are not allowed to use their knowledge of the manuscript before its publication.
Each submitted manuscript receives an ID number to help identify the paper in the subsequent stages of the editorial process. The author is notified of the review results and may contact the editorial team about possible comments or recommendations. The final decision whether or not to publish the paper lies with the Editor.
We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Publication ethics and publication malpractice statement.
